It looks as though Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s presidential campaign is finally on the verge of sputtering out. Democrats have been feverishly trying to kick RFK out of the race through the entire campaign. The fact that he has managed to hang on this long is a bit of a miracle. It looks like the campaign is on its last legs and broke at this point.

Politico reports that the RFK, Jr. campaign spent more money in July than it managed to raise. At the end of July, the campaign had $3.9 million in the bank and owed $3.5 million in debts. The campaign spent $7 million in July. It only raised $5.6 million and about half of that came from the fat checkbook of RFK’s communist running mate, Nicole Shanahan.

To top things off, RFK hasn’t held a single campaign event since July 9th. To put that into perspective, Joe Biden was still the Democrat Party nominee on July 9th, and it was two days before President Donald Trump was shot. It seems like an eternity has passed since then.

RFK was also put at a funding disadvantage because he was forced to pay for his own security this whole time. Joe Biden denied the campaign Secret Service protection until after the assassination attempt against Trump failed.

Democrats successfully kept RFK off the ballot in New York this month, which effectively doomed the campaign. The only point of staying in the race now would be to play spoiler for one side or the other. It’s unclear which side would even benefit from that, since pollsters can’t agree on whether RFK is more likely to draw support away from Trump or Kamala Harris.

Kennedy gave it the old college try, but now that he’s almost out of money and getting kicked off the ballot in major states, it looks like it’s almost over.
